Hi there,

I have a Domain 302 w/ U-turn and I bought a new spring for it (non U-turn) foolishly assuming I could swap it out and everything would be ok - It'd fit and I'd not have U-turn any more.

I think I'm right in saying I can use my new spring, but I'll need a new top cap to replace the current U-turn fitting...

1. Will it work? I can't see why not...

2. Where can I buy the necessary cap to screw onto the top of the leg, I have looked but can't seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks for any replies! :D

It depends on the spring design - does it come with pushrod? The Uturn spring does with it's unique winder. When you remove it there may be nothing for the new spring to push against!

You need to look carefully at the spares catalogue from Fisher Outdoor.

have to say for all the expense, I'd just keep the Uturn ;-)
