Looks sweet mate. I've had to flip my stem too but I think it spoils the overall look of the bike but hey, my back thanks me for it!

Flipped stem might be less neccessary if the bars weren't drooping down.

Hi again guys..with reference to the 'flipped' stem, i fitted this on in replacement for the 0 degrees ITM stem......but considering rolf f's comment how far up can you twist the bars to raise the hoods..... ??

Saving my back a little was the idea but i will have a play around with the ITM stem and twisting the bars to raise the hoods.

I have similar shaped bars to that (though I think mine are more compact) - the brakes are positioned further forward so there is a flat line along the top of the bar and onto the hoods. In my case then the bars are mounted so the flat section is parallel to the ground but they could align a little upwards parallel to the stem. See the Chinese FM028 thread for something more like what I have.

Not sure it is actually a solution to a reach issue but I think the hoods are further away than they could be and it certainly looks less comfortable than it could be!

    @ ROLF F

When you say..the hoods are further away do you mean further along the bar from the bar-ends......if so am i right in assuming one can move the complete brake lever/hoods further down the bar towards the bar-ends to facilitate the twisting of the bars to gain a better position ?

Yep! Though you'll need to re-wrap/replace the bar tape. There is no actual specific mounting point on the bars themselves.
