Having bought dozens of items from DX at values from £1s to over £100 during the last two years I have never been charged shipping, taxes or import duty, please expand on your statement or hold your tongue spen666.

Got to love the laser beams, just need some mini missiles to go with them.

    Don't shoot the messenger

Try reading the law or looking on the HMRC website re import duties etc

The fact you may have not been charged them doesn't mean you are not liable. You have been lucky

Spen's right, you're liable for the charges. But from all the lights that have been bought by people on the MTB side of the forum, it seems they're very, very rarely applied.

if you get collared its expensive as the Royal Mail or other delivery company impose a charge on top to cover their admin as well as the tax they collect on behalf of hmrc

  • As an alternative to DX you might also want to consider tryBestOfferBuy. I bought some lights, lithium batteries and charger from them last winter and was very pleased. Prices are similar to DX but when I was researching many people said that the delivery time and service was better from BoB. Can't comment on this because I have only used BoB.
