Thomas actually says, "he is watching a film I won't disturb him". Which he also says about Christian knees. THe only reason Kness says anything is because thomas walks past him going down the bus.
You say EBH is the only one thinking about the stage, but it's early and Flecha even comes out of the back office after talking with Yates etc about the day's tactics. Seems a decent tight set up to me.

It doesn't say anything about anyone. I've spent many, many hours on buses with a team (different sport) and that scene is pretty typical. So people chat, others mess about, others sleep and some just relex on their own listening to something. You just let everyone get on with it - it's a long journey.
