I just ordered a new eyelet bushing for a fox shock, went for the polymer as TF Tuned say they use these as standard. Now I'm wondering whether it would've been better to go with metal.

Any opinions whether it makes any great difference?

Well... the aluminium one's fox use don't seem to last very long at all on the likes of Giant Anthems.

Now I have used a few of the TF ones and it does looks like there design will reduce wear... TF package them as Heavy duty bushings. As for whether it makes a difference or not I will find out towards the end of the year lol.

Would also advise getting a nice bush press if doing it your self as makes life so much easier.

well it is better to have something that is replaceable to wear rather than something that is not.

if you have lots of movement in that area something will wear out.

Indeed, and I'm hoping it's the bushing that's worn and not the eyelet of the shock itself.
