Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place
Ok so i am thinking about this as a storage system but slightly concerned about rim damage ...even though it says its fine later in the instructions.
anyone have any advice or concerns before i make this the project for this weekend...

Its for two road bikes and three MTB's but all at the same level, pretty straightforward to do but dont want the weight of the bike to damage the rims

I keep my road bike upright, hanging off a rubber covered wall storage hook from B&Q. It's fine. The only thing I'd be worried about is the weight of 5 bikes pulling the whole setup off the wall. No idea how likely it is, but obviously 5 bikes including 3 MTBs are going to weigh 5/6/7 times what a single road bike does.
If you're concerened, use a bit of old innertube around the hooks, should protect the rims from any scratching, the weight itself shouldn't be an issue.0
