Hello Bikeradar peeps, I never usually post on here but today I'm really excited because I have a new bike yipeeee! I'm not an experienced cyclist, but I do try my best.. I'm a 34 yr old woman, quite unfit but getting into cycling to catch up with my extremely fit husband ;) please be easy on me.. I avoid forums because they seem to be full of horrible peeps who like to take the p.. My new bike is a Binanchi dama, I have been riding my Specialised Vita sport for the past year, oooh I feel like a proper roadie now I have a new bike :) anyway, it would be great if you could comment on my post
ps, it is very hilly here in Snowdonia, what's it like where you live? xx

    Well done on the new bike, I love my Bianchi & I'm sure you will too.
    Make sure to put up a photo in the users rides bit
    & get used to spinning up the hills!

    Welcome =D

    I live in Kent, so a few lumps and bumps but nothing like the snowy peaks around you!

    Ps, I hope you sat your wallet down and explained about the sheer level of abuse that is coming its way... This roadie lark is HELL on the bank balance!! =P

    Pps, for my cycling forums, I only use this one... nearly everyone is helpful courteous and darn right knowledgeable and very willing to share that with the rest of us.. be is the millionth "What bike for £XXXX" post or a truly in depth technical question.

    The old schoolers here seem to be firmly grounded by the fact that they used to be a road beginner too!! You couldnt have picked a better forum in my eyes..

    Happy cycling!

  • Hello. Greetings from another woman cyclist.

    A few hills here in south London but not on the same scale as Snowdonia. Wish I were there!
