removing cranks

Im just replacing the bb in my 5. There is raceface evolve crank on it, so when i remove the 8mm allan socket, how do i remove the crank(s) from the axle?!

    you then use an ISIS crank puller.

    Actually , you use the Race face extraction tool thing from Chain reaction
    It fits into the races on the crank, then you tighten up the allen bolt in the centre.

    the diameter of ISIS extractor is all wrong - I know because I bought one !

    Once you have the evolve off, throw it away and replace with just about anything else. they are nothing but trouble

    On the older ones but the newer ones DO use an ISIS puller and the bolt is an 8mm allen key fitting. M15 thread.

    if the OPs ISIS bolt is not an ISIS bolt then yes you need the RF tool.
