Just looking for something different in Italian frames. Has anyone bought one of the above and what are they like? Are they good value for money?

I have a Deda Scuro RS (rebranded as Guerciotti). It's very nice, but I'm biased.
Which Bottecchia are you looking at?0 -

I am looking at the Bottecchia SP9 Supernova and your Deda Scuro RS or Assoluto both look to be good frames especially in White/Green (something different). Is the Scuro geometry set up for racing or sportive? Was your Guerciotti one of the Diquigiovanni Team paint jobs that was on 'your bikes'?Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -
Scuro RS is a race frame and is pretty stiff and direct, not helped by the integrated seatpost. Quite a few pro teams were riding this frame only a year or two ago, quite tempted to go for one myself, but would never put it high in the comfort stakes. Also depends on whether you're a lightweight or heavier rider.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I personally think the sportive/race distinction applied to frames is overplayed. If my position's right, I'm comfortable all day, regardless of the fine points of geometry. Scuro RS has 'race' geometry but so what? I did Raid Pyrenean on it last month (35 hours riding in 4.5 days) and don't think I could have been more comfy.
I suppose it depends if your comfortable position can be achieved on a 'race geometry' frame or if a 'sportive geometry' one is needed. I just think I'm sceptical when I hear that a frame is not going to be comfortable.
PS I'm 42 and 75kg, by no means a racing snake.0 -

Bottecchia looks good and they're a name that goes back. The integrated post on it is properly adjustable which is an advantage over the Scuro (only 12mm adjustment once cut). On the geometry, a slightly longer than average top tube seems to be the noticeable feature, don't know if that works for you.
Scuro RS in white/green looks great also. Have seen one in the flesh and it looked the nuts. Are they anywhere at a reasonable price now? When I was looking they were c.£2k which put me off until I got the Guerciotti one on offer (£1100)0 -
Wiggle have recently started selling the Scuro RS, at £1650.
The Assoluto is more my price point and it looks good, but I can't find much info about them.

Are you aware of these (Deda Scuro RS rebranded again):

And also these (shop in France that does Scuro RS in standard or customised finishes, someone on here said they were good to deal with)

I have a Bottecchia 8tavio frameset for sale if you're interested - it's a 58cm equivalent and is very racy. A little bit too racy for me, if I'm honest, which is why I'm looking to sell. Positively flies when you put the power down though.
I haven't got a lot to compare the 8tavio to, having only ridden Specialised previously, but I would describe it as extremely responsive. It also loves being thrashed about and climbs really well.
Check out the signature...

Might be worth having a look at Trigon who make the Deda frames.0
