Need help with my cBoardman seat
Hi
i am new to this forum. I am having problem with my cboardman hybrid comp saddle. The problem is after about two months the saddle started making noises after much headache i found out that it was with the saddle. one of the two bolts holding the saddle to seat post was bent. Now the problem is Hallfords dont ahve thos bots and nuts and i cant find them of internet or any hardware store. As told by hallfords mechanic they are m6 type bolts and i would also need the 14mm lond 10mm in diametre dowel nut to accompany that.
kindly advise and please excuse my lack of knowledge of the technical jargon.
Thanks

Shouldn't Halfords just replace the saddle instead of sending you off looking for bolts.
maybe you should speak to the manager :?He is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!0 -
I talked the guy on phone but as last resort i guess i would have to do that. Also after all i read about halfords on cycling forums i thought to give that a try myself.0

LBS will have them on the shelf. Two minute job. Throw old bolts into next door's garden. Simples.
Why should they replace the saddle when there is nothing wrong with it? Perhaps they may be more use replacing the bolts......

Have you fallen out with your neighbour or something, you're really keen on throwing old bolts into their garden!- - - - - - - - - -
