SRAM Red Crank Installation - BB Tool question
I got my new SRAM Red cranks through yesterday for a build I am planning.
In the instructions it says to use a Park Tools BBT9 tool to install the BB.
Can I use any Shimano BB tool instead, as I am thinking of getting a tool kit, as I also need a proper pedal wrench etc... but I don't want to shell out for a Park Tool kit!
I was looking at something like:
1/ http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/Bike+Shop ... it_327.htm
2/ http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/Bike+Shop ... t_1703.htm
Thanks much

Then my Shimano tool works fine on the GXP BBs. (well did yesterday on a Force one, and I presume RED is the same).Commute: Langster -Singlecross - Brompton S2-LX
Road: 95 Trek 5500 -Look 695 Aerolight eTap - Boardman TTe eTap
Offroad: Pace RC200 - Dawes Kickback 2 tandem - Tricross - Boardman CXR9.8 - Ridley x-fire0 -
Yep, I will be using the Team GXP BB, not the Red Ceramic one. I got a deal on the cranks and it means if I use the Foce BB I can have the cranks and BB installed for under £200
Thanks for the replies0
