Set off at 6am on Saturday with the intention of providing the internet with shaky videos of mediocre riding.

First fail was setting the gopro to timelapse instead of video so I now have 900odd HD shots of various riding poses, and trails.

Second fail was a crash and the resulting gravel rash:-

I've only been up the once and to be honest i didn't think the trek up there was rewarding enough for what you got, maybe it was because the conditions weren't great and will give it another try at some point.
What if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?

Really ? we thought it was pretty good. Short course, but the last part of the Red route down the side of the quarry is pretty good fun

That said, i only live an hour away, so even if it was mediocre, its no biggy

You should, link Lee and Cragg quarries and you'll have a good day out.

There are plans afoot to incorporate a third site on the other side of the valley but that will a drawn out affair.
