Hi,

I know this is a real newbie question but I have no idea what difference it makes...

Bike is a Bianchi with Veloce bits. Came off it a few months back, bent mech hanger, mech, cassette teeth. I replaced the cassette and hanger but now I am finally giving up trying to get it to shift nicely with a bent mech...

Cassette is 10speed 12-23.

Thanks in advance!

Short will be fine with your cassette.

    From here:

    "Italian style with impressive performance.

Lighter and more rigid for 2011, the rear mech clearly takes cues from the 11-speed components for effective and fast shifting.

    Key Features:

11 speed geometry design optimised for 10 speed systems.
    Tough but light aluminium construction.
Rollers are made from special rubber for efficiency and less noise.
Compatible with Campagnolo 10 speed groupsets.
Upper to lower pulley axle distance: 55mm.
    Capacity: 11/23 to 12/29.
    Weight: 228g"

My short cage handles a 12/28 so it would be no problem for you either..

Would a SRAM mech work with Campag shifters?

Just seen a good deal on a SRAM Force mech.
