First full susser - Giant Anthem X3 2011

Well, finally done it and spent the savings on my first full susser, a Giant Anthem X3... what a fantastic bike! The guys at a local bike shop gave me some great advice, and I moved down from looking at 120-140mm travel bikes to looking at the Anthem as I tend to only ride XC red routes, and don't really enjoy jumping. The bikes now been on 3 rides, I can't believe how much faster it is on everything but the steepest climbs vs the old hardtail, and how much fun it is... to be totally honest the bike is making me look a much better rider than I really am.
I've changed the 110mm supplied stem to a 90mm, and got rid of the tortuous Fikik Tundra 2 saddle and replaced this with a Selle Italia C2 - perfect!
