ITV4 picture quality on freeview

So I come home from work, train, and settle down to watch the ITV4 highlights of the TDF today and instead I'm treated to an hour's worth of digital artefacts and compression issues - totally unwatchable? Anyone had the same problem today? Or is it my aerial? Other stages have been fine - I think the only way round this is to record any instance - live or highlight and hope the signal is half decent. They call this progress.

    I switched between ES and ITV4 ... was fine any time I was watching it ... aerial ??

    The bits I saw between snoozes were OK.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    Highlights looked good to me. No problems in Cheltenham.

    Mine was rubbish too until the last 500m of the race. I wasn't sure if the transmission was the problem or if my digi recorder was playing up.

    ITV4 picture is far better than ES on Virgin.

    To watch watch ES on Virgin must be in HD

    Ours was OK yesterday, but the TTT on Sunday was totally unwatchable.
