THE BROXTOWE CYCLING EVENT!
Sunday 10th July, 6 pm at Giltbrook Retail Park (Ikea/Decathlon)
Beeston CC are working with Broxtowe on the event - lots going on:
Junior Go Ride
The junior go ride event will consist of a number of challenges led by a qualified British Cycling Go Ride Coach. Challenges will include time trials, skills testing and a mini race. All challenges will be suitable for beginners with basic cycling skills.
Beeston Cycling Club Cat 2/3/4 Race
An official race governed by British Cycling open to cyclists in categories 2, 3 & 4.
Broxtowe Ride Out FREE ACTIVITY The Broxtowe Ride Out will provide the opportunity to ride the race course for free. Participants will be invited onto the track once the Adult Fun Cycle Challenge and Junior Go Ride is complete.
Beeston Cycling Club FREE ACTIVITY Beeston Cycling Club will be hosting a stall on the day. Find out about club training nights, social activities and the Club’s Challenge Ride later in July.
Junior/ Adult Fun Cycle ChallengeFREE ACTIVITY Participants of all ages and abilities will get the opportunity to race around a circuit against the clock. Will you be the fastest cyclist?
Cycle Magic FREE ACTIVITY Cycle Magic will be providing a range of fun bikes for people to try on the day. From Tandems to circus bikes to trick bikes there will be lots to try!
Decathlon FREE ACTIVITY Decathlon will be moving some of the store outside for the evening. The store will provide a great opportunity to pick up the latest cycle kit and equipment and the chance to try out the latest bikes.
Cadburys Sports V Stripes! FREE ACTIVITY Are you Sports or Stripes? Challenge your family and friends to a range of activities and games with the Cadbury Team. Are you spots or stripes?
Pulp Friction FREE ACTIVITY Pulp Friction will be providing fruit smoothies! Pedal hard and make your own fruit smoothie!
Trial Sport GB FREE ACTIVITY Joe Oakley from Britain’s Got Talent will be launching the Broxtowe Cycle Challenge! Joe and his team will be providing a number of demonstrations and the opportunity to try a trick or two!
Additional Activities and Stalls FREE ACTIVITY There will a number of other activities and stalls on the day to try!
