Avid Sticky Piston

The outboard piston on my front Avid Juicy 3 is really sticky. I've tried holding the other one and pressing the lever, which made it move a little. I put some dot fluid on it and pushed it back, and repeated this a few times, but it still doesn't move anywhere near as much as the inboard one. If I push both back, pulling the lever moves the outboard one by about 0.5mm and the inboard one by 2-3mm. Any ideas what to do next? I think this has only started since I advanced the pads. I also couldn't get the inboard one to move back very far, so I opened the caliper bleed port, pushed both back, and then bled the system.

strip and clean then. and maybe if that does not work swap them over.

Do I need any special tools or a new piston kit to do that? And once the fluid is out, do I just need to bleed the system to completely refill it?

Oh, and is Isopropyl alcohol fine for cleaning?
