Which would be a good one then to start off on???

Looking a cheapish road bikes to get my fitness going again, nothing expensive and most probably second hand.
Seena few different ones to look at:
Trek 1.2 Road BIke
Giant Defy 2 Road Bike or go for maybe a
Specialized Allez Road Bike, want to get a nice newish one maybe 6 months to 12 months old.

Anyone recommend something else or had one of the above?

    depends how much you are looking to spend. All the above bikes are good for their money.....but if you're spending £2k you can get more :wink:

    I'll be buying second hand and looking at spending roughly £400 tops.

    Get the one that's the right size. If you can choose beyond that, get the one in the best condition :)
