Welwyn Garden and surrounding riding?

Anyone out there locally fancy a ride out sometime? Im usually out 2-3 times a week heading out Ayot, Wheathampstead, Whitwell etc. direction, would be great to learn a few new loops.

    We ride out on a regular basis from Hitchin every Sunday morning and some mid-week evenings. Search 'Hitchin' in this forum for details.

    Also do a websearch (google) on OTT mountain biking who have a good website & ride out from Harpenden - which is close to you.

    Thanks John, checked out both sights...definately would like to join you guys in the not too distant future, did you get out last night? Sadly i was working yesterday and will be Sunday as well :( Will keep an eye out for a future jaunt!

    Is there anyone else local...?

    Unfiortunately I was only able to ride at short notice - and although I buzzed a text around I ended up riding by myself.....

    I did however do about 25 miles & developed a bit ufrther an established loop going over towards Luton & taking in Putteridge Bury.

    Another very good local group (to North Herts & Beds) is Silly Grin.

    Again Google them. They do a good range of weekend & mid-week rides & often go away to some excellent locations.
