finally chose first road bike

Just thought I'd say as I'm quite chuffed I brought my first road bike after help from you guys on here. I got a very nice specialized allez in black 2009 hardly used all seems like new. Really pleased only got the sora but as I get into it ill upgrade as I go. Cheers for your comments really helped.

    Hope you enjoy the bike! I've used Sora for 18 months now and its fine. Needs virtually zero maintenance, solid reliable shifting and, once you're used to the thumb shifters, easy to use. If I can be cheeky and offer some unprompted advice, leave the groupset as it is and upgrade wheels and tyres first. Save the money you'd have to spend on upgrading the groupset and put it towards your next bike! (Which you'll start thinking about in about 3 months if you're like the rest of us!)

    Am after the same bike. how much did you pay for the 2009 ?

    I paid 380 It looks and rides like new. Can't wait to get out on it
