Back at school/work tomorrow :( But at least i can get out on the bike today.

So right now I'm going to eat bacons and watch the 4X from last night, then I'm going to hockey training. After some more eating I'm going out on the bike to test my new commuting route and I'll get home to eat BBQ. Not a bad day

Ooh I'm in such an ethical pickle, one thread says good morning, one says Sunday, I think getonyourbike deserves the win though

morning, today includes going to moomaa and moopaas for dinner and quite probably watching the dh on the old telly box via the computer and some cableage.

I'm also going to make orange tiramisu for consuming watching the race, I seem to have rediscovered my love of cooking of late which is cool, I stopped loving it 14 years ago when I started as a commis chef. I will be starting my culinary missions with a morning platter of breakfast meats and accompni...accompna... Other bits and pieces :)

My cooking skills just about extend to the nice/important stuff, pig based products, pancakes, toast, flapjack, sponge pudding (out a tin :D) and other stuff

    Morning peeps

It's sunny, exams are over, I have a life again.

Hanging very badly this morning which I don't quite understand as I didn't drink that much and I drank over the whole afternoon and evening.

Just been to the shop to buy breakfast, got nothing to do whatsoever today. Reckon I'll go out to Camden later, few drinks by the canal, then 2 cocktails for £7.50 is going to be incredibly appealing.

    AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just been trying to get my mother f**ing c**t s**t bas**rd whoresmouth of a tyre seated and it refuses to do as I tell it, no matter how loud I swear at it!

I very much enjoy not pinch-flatting these days, but tubeless is really starting to p*ss me off now!

Suppose I'd best go get some work done anyway. *wonders off, cursing under breath*

    Helloooooooooooo crudites!
It's been a while (well, feels like it) since I came in here. Had a feckton of work at the moment, moving offices (fun), meetings (fun) drinking tea (fun), testing out audio equipment (fun) and playing a (church's) organ (not so fun).

Anywho, last night was a goooooooood night for me ;) 8) and this afternoon might be too if I play my cards right 8)

    S'laters!
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

shall now be chilling with beers and foodstuffs for the rest of the day, the joys of a decent days weather :D

Today is a day of win! After watching various video tutorials on how to index (mainly Shimano) derailleurs, I got mine (SRAM X9) all sorted
I couldn't get the gears to shift without them making a noise, telling me indexing was ever so slightly out. I didn't have any adjustment left on the shifter cable adjusters, so I loosened the cable on the mech, turned the ajduster out 1½ turns, pulled on the cable and tightened it.
Ta-daa, got them sorted. Excuse me, but I am childishly proud of myself. Now I have all aspects of MTB maintenance sussed.

So, I am off to Cannock on the FS sporting new DT Swiss wheels with a very loud clicky WTB rear hub..

Yeehaa, get yourself a beer and have some sympathy for me, the in-laws-to-be (maybe, one day), are to meet my rents.

    I'm cacking myself...

Had a good day @ Cannock, did FTD then the 12 mile blue route just for the sake of getting some mileage completed.
Left late, so go there just after 16h00 but it was still 25ºC, all in a good Sunday

Had an awesome day of sram x9 related fixing going on too, well it was an x9 until i realised how cr@p they are, so out comes an old x5, now I finally have gears which work ! The joys of el-cheapo components, if only I hadn't have sold the old style x7 shifters I had I'd be sorted now
