How to open KMC missing link ASAP

Hi guys, i can't figure out how to open up the missing link on my new kc chain, i need to shorten my chain :( (KMC X10SL)
help please!!!

    don't worry, all sorted,

    used a chain tool to hold the chain in place whilst pushing links together :)

    Good stuff. I thoroughly recommend a pair of the link pliers for next time.

    thank all, i tried what they did in the video, but instead of pushing in and together at the same time, i pushed in, and THEN together :(

    Get the link scrupulously clean first; tiny bits of grit can prevent you from being able to squeeze the side plates together. I squirt gallons of WD40 on it while catching the washed out crud in a cloth. Then I reach for the KMC link pliers!
