Hi
My sister currently lives abroad but will be coming to visit me a lot over the next couple of years, using means her British base I guess!
I want to get her (because I am nice!!) a road bike she can keep at mine for when she is staying over!
I have a budget of around £200, are there are any decent new bikes you can get for this? Nothing amazing just something that'll do the job for a weekend ride here and there!
Or is it worth getting a second hand bike? And if so are there anygood guides Tk buying second hand bikes? Buying stuff like that second hand scares mean bit!

No experience of it and I am no expert at all!!! but gets good reviews (check sizing though):

Was recently on sale at £126.
This Raleigh also is within budget, gets good reviews. http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/ral-pursuit ... cm-p162718
All depends what you want and what you want to pay.
Amazon have several others too0 -
The Carrera is OK - I wouldn't bother with any of the others but with its carbon fork I'd say this Btwinfrom Decathlon is better than the Carrera:

Boardman CX Team
Trek 8000

that does look good actually! a carbon fork for under £300 thats awesome!
i'll keep an eye out but that might be the one!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -
Also from Halfords is the Carerra Virtuoso. Might be worth a look....0
