SWMBO is only a very occasional cyclist but loves watching road racing especially the TdeF.

I'm all set for today - Women's World Cup cycling in 10 minutes, Team presentation on at 9.20. preview of this years tour at 10. the WHOLE stage live on eurosport from 10:30.

Its such a lovely day as well out there and i planned to strip and clean the bike - that will now not be done until at least 5:30 this evening!

Mrs rubertoe is at work - i have told her to bring in Beer and snacks when she is on her way home as i plan to be festering on the sofa all day!

    Viva le Tour!!!

I love the TDF , but see that track cycling  crawling round and round the same track does 0% for me. it will be interesting to see how wiggy fares this time round, a picture in the paper shows him to have shed a lot of weight for this , hope his power output is good.

ITV4 player online: No picture, no sound.

    Joy.

Edit: Found a Eurosport stream. Non-sarcastic joy.

Edit II: Which keeps redirecting me to a pay-per-view porn site. I give up.

ITV4 worked the third time round.

First TDF stage I've watched in its entirety. Screw it, student overdrafts are there for a reason, I gotta get me on a bike again.

I wonder if you married my wife's long lost sister?

    Mine asked exactly the same.

To which I replied; "Yeah, and he has to go "WOo Woo WOO Wooo nee-nar-nee-nar" on all the sprint stages"

"Really?!? (pause whilst it sank in)... oh f**k off"
