chain tensioner

can anyone tell me why none of the manufacturers have come up with a chain tensioner for a 3x9 0r 3x10 system, surely something could me produced that would float and take up any slack without any adverse effect on either the front or rear mech operation...!

mmm, idea is there, however, it doesn't get very good reviews and is a bit pricey. thanx anyway mister... my family will pay cash. whatever ransom your asking for, they pay it...0
