Is my chain too long?

I've very recently put a new chain on and it feels and souds a bit rackety. I wondered if it may be because it is too long. I've read parktools and about the chain when on the largest sprockets front and rear the rear mech should be an S bend but I just neeed some more opinions before I shorten it. Where do I take the link, I've got a missing link fitted so I'll reconnect it with that?

Here's the chain in the bigggest 2 sprockets, so does it need shortening?

around the two big rings without the rear mech and add 1 full link (1")

so re check it is correct.

checked it and it's fine. I forgot that I had the missing link in the chain so I was trying to make sure it's the right length without getting the chaintool out.

    thanks

It was the right length afterall. I probably thought it was making a racket as I ahven't riden a bike properly in a few months now due to bike problems :( But that will all change tomorrow :D
