questions about the etape du tour shuttle service

just got a pass in the post today which allows me to park a car at the finish and I am guessing a return bus service back to the start ?

we have booked into a hotel about 20K from the start assuming that the shuttle service brought us back after the finish ?

Is this right and do we need to try to make different arrangements ?

It runs the day before and allows you to park at the finish and bus it back so your car is ready for you when you get there on the day of the Etape
