Size of tyre on rim.

I have WTB Speed disc all mountain rims that have a inner width of 21mm.
I ordered a 2.35 maxxis tyre, but was sent a 2.5. Will this tyre be ok on my WTB rim?
WTB website does not really specify.

    if your doing general trails blue-red thats a hell of a big tyre to be carting about!

    Yes, it will be ok. Maxxis measurements are bizarely inaccurate. I've got a 2.5" Swampthing that's roughly as wide as a Halo Twinrail :lol:
