Hi all,

I have just read the mbuk first ride feature on the Ghost SE6000 and liked the look of the bike. my only problem with it is 100mm of travel seems rather short to me. i was wondering if the bike could handle a 120mm or 130mm fork. if it is possible and i were to get the bike i would consider buying an adjustable for from maybe 85mm - 120/130mm fork.

Thanks

Lewis

Why not just buy a bike with the travel you want?

  • surely all depends on what you want to ride. i only have 100mm on my cube acid and find it fine for most trail and MTB centre riding

Frames generally work best with the travel they are shipped with-if it worked better with a longer fork, they would spec a longer fork.

If you want long travel, consider something like an on one 456(complete builds from £1099 or build your own).
