My 50mm Carbon clinchers finally arrive tomorrow and I was planning using my Latex Tubes with topeak valve extender. Just one issue. My track pump cannot get an airtight fit on this extension.

The head is brand new so the seals are not damaged etc.

Therefore it looks like i may have to go with butyl tubes with an 80mm Valve.

Out of these which choices has anyone got any feedback on them

Bontrager Lite Innertube 700x18/25 80mm

Continental Race 28 Innertube 700x18/25 80mm

Specialized Presta Valve Turbo Road Innertube 80mm 700x18/25

Vredestein Road Extra Long Valve Inner Tube - 700 x 18-25mm

I am leaning towards the Specialized but as these will be used for training rides in the sticks I do need something not too unreliable.

I had issues getting a seal with the Topeak valve extenders and I initially thought it was leaking at the pump head. I put some PTFE tape on the threads of the tube valve anyway and that sorted it.
    More problems but still living....

Won't 60mm valves do the trick for 50mm wheels? If so, there are lots of latex lightweight tubes that will do the trick. Even Conti Supersonic tubes (butyl) are only 50g each.
