looking for a road bike that fits the gorrilla description above  . Ive been told that pinarello frames and also Trek Madone are best suited to me (1.91m and 95kg ) with relatively longer torso and arms. What other options are there for frames with a longer top tube dimensions than most, say in the £1500 - £2000 bracket??
Cheers

All basically use the same geometry now. Sizing is done differently for example a 60cm in a cube is a 58 in a Trek or Spesh or a 67 in a De rosa King.

Get measured and get the correct top tube length and stem combo.

at 1.91 and long torso american brands will most likely fit you as they have the market big enough to make larger frames. European frames tend to stop at about a 58.5 top tube

Get measure up - and get a longer stem as required. Work for me.

This is a serious issue for some people.

You need to consider all bikes on merit. I have had big time issues with bike fit based on height, but only when I paid for motion capture bike fit did the penny drop. I am 5'9 but seem to have an inseam of 29 which is akin to someone 5'5. I have a torso aking to someone way taller - this gives me my overall height and its known as a 2.4 torso. As such I have concluded if I ride compact geometry I can ride 56 cm top tube with a slopping tt and 110mm stem and anything from 53.5 - 56 if it is a flat top tube like Cannondale/Pinarello with 100mm stem.

Its worth taking a long hard look at the geometry of the bikes you are looking at. I spent a lot of money moving bikes, but now have exact data and ideas on bikes I can ride, which includes 170mm cranks. Before, lets say two years ago I would simply buy a 'medium' because thats what bike shops told me to ride.
