Blooming Halfords

I'm trying to remove a bottom bracket and my wrench doesn't match what I'm trying to remove.
I know I was taking the pi$$, but I thought it was worth a go, just to pop into Halfords and see if they would loosen the cups for me.
When the boy looked at it he said, 'no we don't have that tool, we just use a flat head screw driver and hit it with a hammer'.
(Which in fairness, is what I was doing and getting nowhere)
Nevertheless i did expect a little more.

Ha ha, quality. I once took a rear wheel to Halfords to get the cassette changed and ended up having to use their tools to do it myself as they didn't know what they were doing. They still charged me
