Hi..I currently have a Pinarello FP2 which has got me through the Etape, Marmotte, Flanders etc. but I am now looking to upgrade the wheels to a lighter set.
Can anybody recommend a good set of wheels for around 500-700 pounds that will be light. I don't want tubs really...
Any advice much appreciated....I have looked at Mavics but am just not 100% sure of alternatives....
Many thanks,
Gez.

You may struggle to get a response as this subject is covered roughly 12 billion times a second. However general concensus would probably be dura ace 7900 cl wheels.
Apparently they run 'buttery smooth' blah blah blahwinter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

Stefano has nailed this subject! Dura ace have a great reputation - if you can pick up a good price on the 7850 CL (recently replaced by the 7900) that may help keep the price down.
