over trousers for short commute

I'm after some over trousers for a short 6 mile commute.
They must be able to be worn over my suit trousers.
I'll spend up to £50 for a reasonable pair.
I've looked at the Altura night vision but they seem quite bulky.
Any ideas and recomendations?

I have a pair of Aldi ones, about £12 - OK they are basic, but they work, keep you dry! They are not really breathable... but for the price they are fine.0

I have an even shorter commute (2 miles) and do it wearing my work trousers.

I've been pretty happy with them - though as somebody pointed out when I bought them - waterproof trousers all drain into your shoes!
Unfortunately I've found it much more difficult to resolve a suitable covering for my top half.0 -
For 6 miles you won't need anything special. You certainly won't need to spend £50. I have a pair of Regatta packaway overtrousers for my 5 mile commute, £12 from Cotswold:

A bigger problem will be your feet.0
