It'll spontaneously combust. Something about the air they pump into Halfords' stores getting trapped in the frame tubes and expanding uncontrollably when exposed to real mountain-biking.
Either that, or you'll have a great time and the bike will survive better than you.

You know what I mean though, it's not like it's an expensive bike. I certainly wouldn't go on the back route with it.0

I have to agree you do not need a thousands of pounds full suss in carbon with slx and dts and blah blah in order to ride these trails..
Get out there get on the Mtb you have and enjoy it.
20years ago these trails were being ridden by the most basic rigid heavyweight bikes.
