Does anyone have an opinion on a SCOTT CR1 team 2009 Carbon Road bike with 105 kit? I'm looking at one which has already done 500 miles but is in great condition and I would also like to know what is the most you would pay for it? The only other 2 bikes I'm interested in are a new 2011 Boardman team carbon or a new Bianchi Via Nerone 7 Xenon. I'm by no means a seasoned rider but am moving to Australia and would like to get something good to last me for a while

    I'd definitely take the Scott Team over the other two options. Better quality frame than the Boardman and much better spec than the Bianchi in that 105 is much better grouspet than Xenon.

    I've just sold a revamped 2099 Scott Comp for £900 on ebay - new Shimano 105 5700 groupset though - so anything under £900 would be good. £750+ would be a very good price for 2099 Team model in immaculate condition.

    Well that's my view anyway. Have previously had a Scott Team - fine bike
