Hi,

I just bought a compact bike the other day. Unfortunately I got a phone call today to say they could only get triples back in stock, even though they are the main distributor for this brand.

They offered to change the bike to a compact for me, does this affect the bike in anyway??? Would the 2012 versions be coming out his soon????

Thanks.

If they change it for you in the shop it will be exactly the same as if you bought a normal compact.

    No difference whatsoever.

true - assuming they swap the chainset and shifters for the double versions of the same model/brand and not some cheaper variant in the range. What's fitted as standard?

They said they'd swap tiagra for tiagra. Chainset and shifters. That should be ok... Shouldn't it?
