Front mech upgrade

I have SRAM Rival shifters & mechs. I find the front shifting pretty poor as the front mech requires alot of force to be moved. The front shifter also makes a loud cracking noise when I shift into the little ring.
I've heard that SRAM Force also has this problem so I was thinking of upgrading to a SRAM Red front mech. Would thid be worthwhile? Would this improve front shifting while also reducing wear on the front shifter?

pointless - just spend the time setting up the mech correctly and it will be fine. The SRAM front shift is loud anyway, and front shifts are very sensitive to correct cable tension - which is why it's worth getting it right.0

Plus most of the Pros basically use a Sram Force front mech, rebadged as Red because they steel cage is better/provides more positive shifts than the Ti one.0

I have Rival on one bike and Red a=on the other and couldn't tell the difference between shifting performance.
As said get the setup right and the Rival will be fine.0
