I purchased (wish i didnt) a Trek 2010 Top Fuel 8 in november ex-demo, and nothing but hassle. its been back a few times for gears to be set right, but to no avail to changed from slx to xt front & rear, runs like a dream, apart from the rear brake to which im confused.

It seems to have a mind of its own.. it squeaks like a dont know what at low pace, higher biting point at high pace squeeks a little , and locks up a beauty when wet, is this normal or am i missing a point?

To summarise, your rear brake squeaks?

have a read of the squeaky brakes topic in the FAQs (the formula one is good) It will give you and idea as to what type of squeak you have.

And a read of the Parktools link in Nicklouses sig has info on how to do just about everything, including indexing.
