Cervelo R3

In a rush of blood I just bought a second-hand Cervelo R3 frame,

Frame, forks, seatpost and headset included. I've been on the lookout for a Cervelo road frame to replace my old Pinnacle which has a cracked frame. I'm planning on moving the Ulegra groupset over as long as there aren't any problems with that?

£720 in total, that's not a bad price is it?

    eBay. I was quite surprised, most of the frames I've had my eye on there seem to go for silly money

    I bought the frame, not the whole bike. I don't get what's odd though? :?

    I hope it arrives & it isn't a scam.... What is odd is the eBay photos are the same as a random web article from Canada showing a prototype.

    It will need cantis, not single pivot brakes

    I was just thinking the same thing. Hope it all works mate - and if you do get the frame in the photo, then as above - canti brakes etc.

    That's not the image fom the auction, I got that from Google image search. I don't think you can hotlink auction images from eBay.

    Ah i was watching that - yup looks a good buy for the money. They still seem to be going for over 900 for the older frames but obvioulsy not for 61cm. Nowt wrong with it. Your Ultegra will work find although you might need a braze on front mech if the pinnacle is band on.
