I've found it weirdly effective before on my iPhone, but maybe my searches weren't regional enough. I tried your criteria:
1. Funny
2. Bunnies
3. Chinese
4. Bunnies again
5. Fannies (spooky!)

Its not on googles home page now. At about 6 oclock there was a mic in the searchbox that allowed you voice search. They must be testing it.
