Less people whining on the TV about water shortages and hosepipe bans in a few days if we don't see substantial amounts of rain... :roll:

    the main advantage i find is that all the rain keeps the roads cleaner, so that you don't get as much crud on your bike when it next rains

    ^^^ nothing like hooning down a nice straight to be confronted with a slight corner and greasy road.

    That and the local farmers dragging fresh sloppy mud onto the roads.

    The rain has come too late to save the harvest from being short this year, expect further price rises, whether they be justified or not...

    We had a few weeks of extremely high winds, now followed by a week of rain. But summer has officially kicked off here, and the heat and sun is in full force!

    Bring on the good riding weather again.

    Are you sure? Please explain. My harvest seems to be going great since the downpours.

    Just wandering as that's the only reason i've been thanking the rain.
