the main advantage i find is that all the rain keeps the roads cleaner, so that you don't get as much crud on your bike when it next rainsmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
^^^ nothing like hooning down a nice straight to be confronted with a slight corner and greasy road.
That and the local farmers dragging fresh sloppy mud onto the roads.
