Frame size advice

Been Upgrading My Cube HT for a while and now looking at swapping for a short travel full sus .. seen a Cube Ams frame i have an interest in But its 16" Im 5 10" inside trouser leg of 31

My HT is a much bigger 20" but i drop the seatpost near the tube when on trails ..

Head says dont be silly its too small but heart says give it a go .. someone kick my arse either way please !

    To me it will be a tad to small a 17.5 would be better.....the best way though is try a 16" cube in a local store...if it feels comfortable then theres your answer

    As Pudseyp says try sitting on one. Myself 5'9" with a 29" inside leg, rode a 16" hardtail and found the cockpit very cramped even with a longer stem etc. Great on short blasts (~1-1.5hrs) but on longer days out seriously affected the comfort and hence the enjoyment. Since switched to a fs due to back problems and went with a 18" (medium) frame which feels so much better/comfortable after trying out a few different sizes/makes.
