Kloden, Horner, Leipheimer and Brajkovic all in the team. All 4 capable of going top 20 easily - if they all worked together, whilst I don't think any of them could win, they could certainly have a bearing on who does win?

Will win the team prize I would have though (I know it is worthless, but even so - to Radioshack it might encourage them to stay in cycling?)

Rather put my money on the first team to be kicked off the tour than to win the team prize.

I really do wonder when guys old enough to father some of the peloton dance up the mountains and get close to TT specialists (T of Cal and T de Suisse) esp when that team was founded by everyones favourite forum topic. Probably nothing but my inbuilt cynicism and I should admire their athletic talent and how well they have looked after themselves.

While I wouldn't 'stick my hand in the fire' for Leipheimer or Kloden, Chris Horner has a decent reputation as far as I can tell.
It's worth remembering that Raymond Poulidor came third in the Tour aged 40.

I wish there was a jersey for the the best over 35 year old finisher (grey maybe? ). The competition is probably just as keen as the young riders white jersey competition.

They guys are old but they're quite good, very good TTers in fact - in many TTs Shack guys figure high in the top 10/15 on a regular basis.

As I said in the TdS thread, I'm surprised Klodi wasn't vying more for Bruyneel's favour, you wouldn't even know he was riding, he didn't figure in any of the finales on the climbing stages.

He must be waiting for the Super-Besse stage (is that the first hilltop finish?) to stake his claim...
