To fight cases of clinical neglegence is to be stopped by the government.

All very well if you're loaded, not so good if you're an ordinary joe.

Well there's absolutely no doubt it will save the taxpayer a whole load of money.
Save on legal aid in first instance and save NHS paying out in all the cases that don't get brought in the second instance.

I guess the mindset is that no win, no fee practices will take up the slack but I'm sure there was some recent legislation that is more restrictive on their practices also. Something to do with still paying legal fees (but don't quote me on that).

It's all about hardworking families you know! Unfortunately, Mr Cameron has confused the adjective hardworking with well off.

Clinical/medical neglegence cases are hard to prove and require specialist lawyers (very expensive) No win no fee are only interested in cases they're pretty sure they'll win. Therefore (I assume) ordinary folk who have the gross mis-fortune to need the assistance of such a lawyer will just end up having insult added to injury. Lord knows what life will hold for the poor afflicted individual.God I could spit. :twisted:

I agree that the current government are making some decisions which seem questionable, however it appears that the opposition party ably led by Mr. Milibean the only pre-pubescent politician and his Uncle Ed Balls up(who you wouldn't seriously even buy a second ahnd car off never mind trust decisions of national importance to) would rival them in a talking shite contest.
