Adjusting indexing on SRAM X0 rear mech

Hi,
I have a Boardman HT Pro with a SRAM X0 rear mech. The upper & lower limits are all fine. However, I am trying to adjust the tension, by twisting the barrel adjustor on the shifters.
It seems that with lower tension, the higher gears (with smaller rings on the cassette) work fine, but when you shift down to bigger cogs, the chain skips from cog to cog.
If you increase the cable tension, the lower gears work fine, but the higher gears skip.
Hopefully I have explained that adequately
How do I get the indexing adjusted so that most, if not all gears work without skipping ?

Bent hanger most likely dude. Either that or theres some gunk caught in the cables.
The latter is easy to do, just strip and squirt some gt85/degreaser down the outer and lubricate the inner and it should be dandy. If not you can straighten a hanger although its not the easiest to do without the right equipment.0 -
Also check the cable routing into the mech is correct and is in the right side of the cable bolt.0
