Ive got a set of lightly used XT shifters winging there way as I type, having deore at the minute means i can't alter there positions with the brakes. There coming with used cables, which I assume I can use providing they are long enough, but can I reuse my existing cable outers and ferrules. I searched this site and the web but can't find a definitive answer.
Cheers for any help
