front-mounted seats and drop bars

I'd prefer to get a front-mounted seat but am not sure if this would be unweildy with drop bars?

The bike that has our front-mounted used to have a flatbar. I pretty quickly swapped them out for something that allowed me to sit a bit more upright.

It's not that it can't be done - but you do really reach 'around' the kid to do so. And, as they grow, that'd get increasingly difficult.

But... it really depends upon the size/geo of your bike too. Mine has a really long top-tube (weird geo really) but that's handy to fit us all in.

Thanks baudman - I've been thinking about it and I think I'll just chuck some high and wides on there as its only a SS so no gears to worry about. Cheers for your reply.
