bikes
hi, after looking and looking i decided just to ask here...
i want to get a bike that can go downhill and take jumps no problem, but at the same time needs to be light enough to climb with. I was wondering what bikes do you ride to have an idea of what i am aiming for.
any help is very welcome, thanks

What sort of budget are we looking at? And what does your downhill and jumps actually entail ie severity?0

i am looking for a second hand one, willing to spend about 400. I am based in London so not much downhill around here...I have been in Wales and did some red routes no problem, so it would be aimed to that i guess and hopefully more soon0

Is hard to advise on 2nd hand bikes as we can't see the full market - easier to advise on new bikes.
It seems by red routes that you won't be tackling the DH we see the pros tackle, so I guess you are after an 'All Mountain' bike. These are good middle ground generally.
Have a look at the Mongoose Teocali.0
