Ayup folks,

Thought i'd put a little 'hello! look at me' post up!

Been commuting for just over a fortnight now, so thought i'd join!

My commute is 18 miles a day, but at 40 y.o. and 19 stone, it feels a lot more!

I started because to be honest, i'm sick of being a fat knacker, so we'll see what happens......every little helps

I've definitely got the bug, riding the commute 5 times a week on a Spesh Sirrus but already looking at something a little more 'racier' for weekend blasts.

Cheers!

What makes you think any of us are in the slightest bit interested in cycling or you at all.

    Move along now

Seriously, welcome to the club. 2 weeks commuting?, you'll soon be trying to work out how you can get the wife to allow you another bike or 2.

Keep up the cycling. 90 miles a week is a decent mileage for a new commuter

    Wife? Wife?

    Pah......wives are for suckers!

No wife = no nagging, no garden centers or clothes (shudder) shopping, not to mention you can buy as many bikes as necessary to scratch whatever itch you might have this month!

    Bliss, nirvana and utopia!

Say it with me........hurrah for divorce!
